Revitosin was designed as a nightly crème for acne skins or clients undergoing an acne or scar revision program, to regulate dysfunctions that contribute to acne and restore balance and rebuild the skin.
 
Vitamin A helps to rejuvenate the skin by promoting the growth of healthy cells and inhibiting the growth of unhealthy ones. The only way to prevent acne and ageing is to restore balance to the skin. Revitosin acts against hypercornification (where cells keratinise down in the ducts causing ductal plugging). By allowing fluids to flow freely, the powerful, regenerative properties of retinol (vitamin A) are known to promote collagen activity, kill P-acne bacteria, inhibit tyrosinase (an enzyme that catalyses the oxidation of tyrosine into melanin and other pigments), and regulate the flow of oil and cellular proliferation. The beneficial actions of vitamin A’s are optimal when a variety of vitamin A’s are used together, rather than alone. Unlike other vitamin A products, Revitosin does not penetrate the blood stream.
